He interned at University of California in San Diego in General Surgery and did his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Tulane University.  Dr. Center has served as the Director of Lake Charles Regional Trauma Center in Louisiana, Medical Director and Flight Surgeon of Air-Evac International, and Area Director of Readicare Urgent Care Centers of America in California.

Dr. Center is a family physician in San Diego, California.  Since 1986, Dr. Center has maintained a private practice emphasizing complementary and alternative medicine, anti-aging, and progressive treatment of functional disorders. Dr. Center is Board Certified with the American Academy of Anti-aging Medicine and a Founding Member of the Antler Research and Product Technology Association.

He is also an active member of the American Preventive Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Holistic Medical Association and the American Nutraceutical Association.  He also serves on the General Medicine Committee of Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California and is the Medical Director of Matrix Health Products.

Dr. Center has been featured in numerous television and radio programs, newspaper and magazines, health journals and web sites.  Dr. Center lectures in the U.S. and internationally to medical colleagues and the public on natural healing and subjects related to anti-aging medicine, herbs and supplements, homeopathy, and alternative and complementary medicine. Dr. Center performs clinical studies and is always researching the latest methods for naturally improving the health of his patients.
