Substantial
research has been done by modern scientists that has led them
to respect Noni’s unique healing properties through its high quantities
of phytonutrients and enzymes.
Beginning in the 1950’s, Noni has been researched at leading
institutions in France, the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Taiwan,
Japan, Austria, Canada and Hawaii.
In
1993, a Japanese research team reported in The
Cancer Letters that Noni was the most effective of 500 tropical
plant extracts at preventing the growth of tumors.
Studies have shown that Noni stimulates the production
of T-cells in the immune system.
Other studies have shown Noni to have very effective anti-inflammatory,
analgesic, antibacterial properties.
One study at the University of Hawaii isolated one of the
140 compounds, scopoletin, and showed that it lowered high blood
pressure, relaxed spasms, reduced inflammation, killed bacteria
and fungi and prevented growth of tumors.
Perhaps two reasons for Noni’s wide range of effectiveness
is ability to regulate cell function and cellular regeneration
and its role as an adaptogen—helping the body to restore its organs
to normal function, or homeostasis.
“.
. . 78% of the more than 15,000 noni users reported that it helped
in some way, including fighting cancer, heart disease, digestive
disorders, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, stroke and weight problems.”
Neil Solomon, M.D., Ph.D.
Author and Lecturer
“Not
only does noni provide many benefits on its own, but it also increases
the effectiveness of other treatments . . . noni is incredible
because it offers help to people who could not be helped by traditional
medical science.”
Steven Hall, M.D.
Providence Hospital, Washington
“Noni,
an ancient remedy, is finally being validated by breakthroughs
in modern technology.”
Mona Harrison, M.D.
Former Chief Medical Officer, D.C. General Hospital
“The
following body systems have all been effectively influenced by
noni: circulatory, digestive, respiratory, skin, endocrine, immune,
nervous and skeletal.”
Rita Elkins, M.H.
Author and Lecturer
“Noni, Morinda citrifolia”
“New
studies show this Hawaiian juice soothes even the worst aches
and pains, helps lower high blood pressure . . . and early studies
indicate it may even have the ability to cure cancer.”

“An
increasing body of research validates the wondrous workings of
this ancient panacea from the tropics—but there is an enormous
range of potency among different products.”
Alternative Medicine Magazine, 01/01
“Scientific
research now shows that constituents in noni fruit have the ability
to stimulate a natural immune-building response, purifying blood,
regulating cell function, regenerating damaged cells and inhibiting
tumor growth.
